The following tests were performed on a mid 70's Martin D-28. The guitar was placed on its side and the string was struck with a standard heavy guitar pick mounted on a spring-driven device to ensure consistency of picking force between the two tests. Care was taken to ensure that the placement of both the pick and the microphone were also consistent.

The above test shows the E string in our test guitar before installing the bridge system.

With the JLD Bridge System installed, the guitar's volume jumps well off the graph.
